Plans are underway for the development of a multi-million dollar urban project after property developer Stockland teamed up with McDonald’s Australia.

If approved, the plan would include 350 new apartments, expansive community retail and services, along with a revamp of the existing McDonald’s restaurant and car park at corner of Church Street and Victoria Road.

The new McDonald’s will include two levels of seating, a PlayPlace, McCafe and a dual lane Drive Thru.

Josh Bannister, McDonald’s senior development director submitted a development application in progress with the Parramatta City Council to spend $8 million on 355-375 Church Street in 2015.

''This is one of the first mixed use developments where McDonald’s has been integral to the design from the outset, allowing us to create a truly innovative and modern experience that we’re confident our customers will love,'' Mr Bannister told the Sydney Morning Herald.

The agreement with McDonald’s Australia is subject to satisfactory rezoning and presales. The proposed apartments include provisions for a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
