As demand amplifies for quality apartments across the Lower North Shore, a new, boutique project is launching in North Sydney Colliers International are marketing Akoya; an intimate collection of only 24 apartments, located on Doohat Avenue in North Sydney.

The project’s scale and design are aimed at discerning buyers who characterise this sector of the local market. Akoya is designed to complement the environment in which it sits, marrying the contrasting typologies of the urban and residential experiences. A striking architectural marker connecting the old and new faces of North Sydney “Akoya offers an elegant mix of 1, 2 & 3-bedroom apartments including two top floor two storey penthouses, with a mix of balconies and loggia with the majority of the apartments facing North. Residents will also enjoy a rooftop entertaining area with BBQ facilities with views over the Harbour.”

“Design features of Akoya include; designer kitchens, luxury bathrooms and high-end fixtures and finishes designed by Rothelowman,” said Blake Schulze Residential Director at Colliers International.

“We are expecting strong interest in this development due to the boutique nature of the building, its location and limited supply in the North Sydney market.”

Residential Director at Colliers International, Selda MacDonald said, “Elegant interiors and materials of the highest integrity speak of the refined craftsmanship and meticulous design of each apartment.”

North Sydney offers sophisticated inner city living, with a gentle, relaxed pace and a strong community feeling. Akoya is close to the many high-end restaurants, cafés, bars and retail outlets of the lower north shore, including neighboring Kirribilli, McMahons Point, Lavender Bay and Milsons Point.

The project is being developed by 9Springs, who specialise in boutique residential developments which enhance communities, and is designed by Rothelowman, an architecture firm, recognized for their high quality, innovative designs. The subtle design elements inspire the luxury of daily rituals at Akoya.

Peter Chittenden, Managing Director, Residential at Colliers International said, “North Sydney is currently undersupplied, with very limited new residential supply coming to the market.”

“Markets such as Sydney CBD, St Leonards and Milsons Point have experienced strong growth across a range of projects, creating an opportunity for North Sydney to capitalise on the strong price points and lack of competition.”

The project is set to launch on early October with the display located on Doohat Avenue, North Sydney.
