Centuria in talks with e-Shang Redwood regarding possible Propertylink takeover

Centuria Capital Group has confirmed it held talks with e-Shang Redwood Group which could see Propertylink Group taken over. 

The move may also see the group’s industrial real estate and property funds arms divided between the bidders, with ESR focused on the warehouses and Centuria looking to grow its $4 billion empire.

According to The Australian, Centuria told the Australian Securities Exchange that no agreement had been reached between the parties, however confirmed that

Centuria continued to look at a range of potential acquisition and partnership opportunities.

Propertylink has portfolio of 30 industrial properties worth around $760 million, that would appeal to ESR. 

Centuria would be interested in its six funds, which control $959m of industrial and office assets. 

ESR bought a stake in Propertylink last October, which it has grown to 19.9 per cent, a move that prevented Centuria’s takeover play for Propertylink.
