Sydney's new Manhattan-style tower reaches highest pointSydney’s long-awaited ‘Arc by Crown Group’ has reached its highest level of construction.

Positioned in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, Sydney’s new Manhattan-style landmark 22-storey, $250-million tower Arc by Crown Group reached its highest level of construction this week.

Crown Group Chairman and Group CEO said it was an important milestone for the company in 2018. “We are incredibly excited to mark the ‘topping out’ of the long-awaited global icon Arc by Crown Group,” Mr. Sunito said.

“Arc by Crown Group mirrors the dynamic, optimistic and ambitious nature of Sydney, where the past and the future combine to create a vibrant, international city.

“This jewel in the crown of the Sydney CBD embodies all that Crown Group stands for. This architectural masterpiece will not only change the face of Sydney, but will set the new standard for inner city luxury living,” he added.

Designed by internationally acclaimed Koichi Takada Architects, the residential tower features 220-apartments, retail outlets and resort-style health and fitness facilities including a swimming pool, gymnasium, and a rooftop garden with water features.

The 25-storey building features heritage-inspired street level brick arches transitioning to a striking glassand- steel tower and striking curved fins rising from the building’s rooftop. The unique arches will envelope the tower’s rooftop garden, foaming a striking addition to Sydney’s skyline.

Lower levels include an eight-story cathedral-like atrium rising 20 metres above street level over a new public laneway between Kent and Clarence streets, joining historic Skittle Lane.

The design was selected by an independent panel with members from local government during a City of Sydney design competition.

Arc by Crown Group was awarded Best Residential Development at the International Property Awards in Singapore in 2015.

Crown Group Director of Sales Roy Marcellus said Arc by Crown Group captured the attention of the world.

“Arc by Crown Group is set to become one of Sydney’s architectural centerpieces, a globally recognised icon,” Mr. Marcellus said.

“Many of our buyers are past purchasers of Crown Group apartments, a testament to our reputation and quality of our developments.

“High-quality apartments built by developers with a good track record in Sydney are always highly sought after,” Mr. Marcellus added.

More than 500 eager property buyers flocked to Crown Group’s 1 Market Street display suite from 8am on the official launch day in 2014, with $100 million of apartments sold within four hours and a total of $173 million by the end of the day.

Mr. Marcellus said the lifestyle and location of Arc by Crown Group made it one of the Sydney’s most sought after developments, within easy walking distance to some of the Sydney’s most established attractions including Barangaroo and soon to be completed additions such as Darling Square and the upcoming $1.6
billion casino Crown Sydney.

When completed in mid-2018, Arc by Crown Group will offer 220 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments built to the highest standards.

Crown Group this month introduced Arc by Crown Group’s Signature Collection, a limited selection of previously unreleased luxury apartments. It features an exclusive selection of a limited number of one-bedroom-plus-study apartments and a ‘Super Penthouse.’ Prices for one-bedroom apartments range from $1,075,000 - $1,490,000.
