On Sunday February 11, SHOKAI Ausbao welcomed members of the local Granville community to a special Chinese New Year Event in celebration of the launch of their upcoming development, Granville Place.

In joint venture with Develotek, the $400M mixed-??use development is set to become one of the most desireable residential addresses in Sydney’s West.

With close to 200 people in attendance across the course of the day, special guests included the Honourable Lord Mayor of Parramatta Andrew Wilson, Member for Granville Ms Julia Finn, Western Sydney Director of the Sydney Business Chamber David Borger as well as Regional Director of SHOKAI Ausbao Jason Gao and Director of Develotek Robert Sargis.

After the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Honourable Lord Mayor Andrew Wilson spoke on how the development is looking to create a beautiful place for people to live and work.

“This developer has gone out of his way to design this project with far more communal space for the community and they are doing their best to keep the price range at a range that everyone can afford.

“There will be hundres of jobs in the commercial area as a result and I have asked them if they would have a look at appointing more commercial in this development because I believe this is going to be a great shopping place not just for the people of Granville but for regional Parramatta,” said Mr Wilson.

Granville MP Julia Finn welcomed everyone to the area and spoke on the impressive nature of the building’s design. “[Granville Place] is set to be a beautiful design and will be a very welcomed addition to this part of Granville. We’re looking forward to construction which will set the bar, putting a challenge out there to all of the adjoining sites that we can create something beautiful here,” said Ms Finn.

Regional Director of SHOKAI Ausabo Jason Gao said he is excited to see the changing face of Granville.

“One year ago, when our partner Develotek introduced Granville to us, we immediately recognised the potential in the area. Only two kilometres away from Parramatta CBD, close to the train station and M4 as well as Parramatta Road. It has all the infrastructure to grow rapidly. Moreover, the current trend of greater Sydney expanding West would upgrade this area dramatically in the coming years,”said Mr Gao.

Throughout the day, guests were treated to beautiful interactive food stations including a Dumpling House, Peking Duck Station and a classic Ice Cream Truck with entertainment in the form of an outstanding Lion Dance to kick off the Lunar New Year.

Guests had the opportunity to view the new Display Suite and get a glimpse of what Granville Place will offer. It showcases the impressive fixtures and finishes of the development and without doubt has set a new benchmark for green Precinct living in the area. Designed by Marchese Partners’ the display suite reflects the development’s beautiful designer family apartment and brings exuberance, vitality and enjoyment into every aspect of its design.

Just 5 minutes from Paramatta CBD and a short 30-minute train ride to Sydney city, Granville Place is perfectly placed to shape Granville’s new lifestyle, retail and residential heart. This is neighbourhood design at its best – a family-friendly place to live, shop and play with everything on your doorstep.

A new hub for suburban city living. Granville Place marks a new chapter bringing new life to the beating heart of this growing family-friendly neighbourhood. It’s leading-edge fusion of architecture, imaginative oasis landscapes and amenity is sure to set new standards for Australian
residential design.

Granville Place will launch to the public in March 2018, with excavation work expected to commence in early February 2018. Construction completion is set for early 2022.
