The Andrews government has struck a landmark deal with developer Villawood, swapping a cash contribution to its infrastructure fund for a 3.5-hectare school site in Truganina.

The "works-in-kind" agreement also involves Villawood building local roads and installing essential utilities to the site on the Albright estate instead of paying a levy to the Growth Areas Infrastructure Contribution. It is understood the value of the land is greater than the expected contribution.
