Colliers International are selling another Bondi trophy asset, located in the suburbs strongest retail position, with price expectations of more than $10 million.

Colliers International are bringing 62 Hall Street to market, a ground floor pharmacy and six apartments in the eclectic heart of Bondi, to be sold at auction on August 30th.

“Bondi is one of Australia’s most tightly held suburbs, cherished by the local population, in particular the eclectic mix of retailers, restaurants along Hall Street, all the way to the beachfront” said Miron Solomons, National Director, Investment Services at Colliers International.

Hall street is now considered the main hub of Bondi rather than Campbell Parade. “Hall Street is not as volatile to the seasons as Campbell Parade, so it doesn’t fall victim to the fluctuations of trade as experienced by the beachfront retailers,” Mr Solomons said.

The property is located opposite Toga’s Boheim development, and adjacent to popular Hall Street retailers including Da Orazio Pizza and Porchetta, Gelato Messina plus the Adina Hotel and Harris Farm.

“The area is a hive of activity all year round, especially due to the high level of disposable income in the Eastern suburbs,” said Matt Pontey, Manager, Investment Services at Colliers International.

“The building is near new, with multiple defensive income streams from both retail and residential tenancies. We are seeing more and more demand for mixed use assets in this class, with both purchasers and lenders taking comfort in diversified income streams which obviously minimises risk and exposure.” said Miron Solomons.

62 Hall Street will be sold via a public auction on August 30th, 2018.
