Following on from a raft of high profile beachfront sales more A-grade Bondi assets are coming to market.

A few streets back from the rush of Campbell Parade, 30a Hastings Parade North Bondi is up for public auction and likely to attract plenty of bidders according to agents Phillips Pantzer Donnelley and Colliers International

The mixed-use block housing seven luxury residential apartments managed by Apartment Hotels with Bondi Wholefoods downstairs is a popular locals haunt. Built in 2011, the designer building covers 461sqm and generates approximately $577,000 net annual income from two tenants according to the IM released this week.

“The corner position of this block and its central location and close proximity to the beach makes it an incredible opportunity to secure a trophy Eastern Suburbs asset,” says Colliers Agent Miron Solomon.

“The rise in overseas tourism to the area has seen accommodation options focus predominately on backpackers, there exists a real undersupply of quality accommodation in the proximity to Bondi Beach which Apartment Hotels have successful capitalised on.”

Meanwhile at the southern end of the beach, advertising guru John Singleton with Geoff Dixon and Mark Carnegie are set to sell the Level 3 Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, a 675 square metre top floor operation perched high above Bondi Beach.

Leased until 2042, with a sub-lease until 2036 (including options) the iconic landmark spot is expected to sell for over $15 million.

Both properties are scheduled for auction next month.
