Perth, May 18, 2017 – The Fremantle Boat Harbour has welcomed Han’s Café to its line-up of eateries and bars – cementing its position as the port city’s main dining hub.

The Perth-based restaurant chain has signed a 10-year lease on its new 240sqm restaurant at the Fremantle Boat Harbour, joining popular eateries including Bathers Beach House, Char Char Bull, Kailis Fish Market Cafe, Cicerellos, Little Creatures, Baskin-Robbins and Joe’s Fish Shack.

The Fremantle outlets marks Han’s 13th restaurant in Perth and will feature the company’s new branding, fitout and refreshed menu.

CBRE’s Adrian Morabito, who negotiated the deal, said the addition of Han’s Café to Fremantle highlighted strengthening confidence in the area’s dining scene.

“This deal diversifies the food offering at the Fremantle Boat Harbour and demonstrates the increasing demand for a wide range of dining options at the precinct,” Mr Morabito said.

“With Fremantle the state’s most visited tourist destination, it is encouraging to see growing interest from retailers and food and beverage operators looking to secure a presence in the suburb.”

Han’s Café’s commitment to the precinct comes after Bathers Beach House was granted the first beach liquor license in Australia in November last year.

Mr Morabito said Fremantle was benefitting from an upturn in economic activity that was helping boost its retail market.

“With a pipeline of projects in excess of $1.4 billion, Fremantle is witnessing increased consumer and business confidence, which is further being supported by a stronger focus on residential and commercial development in the suburb,” Mr Morabito said.
