Foodies in Western Sydney are set to flock to the region's newest fine dining address, following the announcement that Rockpool Dining Group will bring two of its premium restaurants to Coronation Property's landmark 8 Phillip Street mixed-use development in Parramatta. Rockpool Dining Group's premium restaurants include Rockpool Bar & Grill, Sakà © Restaurant & Bar, Rosetta, Spice Temple, Jade Temple and The Cut Bar & Grill. The two restaurants will add further world-class cuisine to 8 Phillip Street's highly-anticipated dining and entertainment precinct, which includes Sydney's highest rooftop venue, Studio 54, plus offerings from the development's hotel operator QT Hotels & Resorts, who are planning a signature bar & grill restaurant, multiple meeting and event spaces, and a grand ballroom. 8PhillipSt_God_Shot The announcement ensures 8 Phillip Street will be a premier gastronomic destination for residents and visitors alike, says Coronation Property Managing Director, Joseph Nahas. "The commitment by Rockpool Dining Group to open restaurants of this calibre further underpins the economic strength Parramatta CBD has to offer," said Mr Nahas. "As a local property developer, we know Rockpool Dining Group will be warmly welcomed by food lovers in this part of the world, and we're excited to be partnering with them at 8 Phillip Street." Mr Nahas also believes the announcement is an exciting development for the wider Western Sydney community. "This partnership will raise the bar for the greater Western Sydney dining scene, and serves to confirm the importance of Parramatta's "Ë?Eat Street' precinct in the broader local community. "No longer do food connoisseurs, or those simply wanting a nice evening out, need to travel lengthy distances to experience a higher standard in dining." Rockpool Dining Group was formed in November 2016 when Urban Purveyor Group acquired Rockpool Group to create the largest hospitality player in Australia, with over 55 dining and entertainment venues, revenues in excess of $350 million, and around 3,000 employees across four states. Rockpool Dining Group's Chief Executive Officer Thomas Pash said partnering with Coronation Property and introducing two new premium restaurants to Western Sydney was a fantastic opportunity. RockpoolDiningGroup_Neil Perry_Thomas Pash "Rockpool Dining Group is thrilled to team with Coronation Property to bring two of our premium brands to Parramatta," said Mr Pash. "Market research and customer data across our premium brands indicates that Parramatta will welcome and support two, and possibly more, of our top restaurants. "Also, being involved with such a premium development gives us the opportunity to work alongside best-in-class operators such as Coronation Property and QT Hotels & Resorts." When 8 Phillip Street is completed in 2020, it will incorporate 18 storeys of boutique QT Hotel accommodation, beneath 35 storeys of residential apartments. 8PhillipSt_Lobby_Entrance "Importantly for Coronation, this announcement reaffirms our commitment to Western Sydney " in this case, as well as delivering premium apartments, we're also delivering premium dining," added Joe Nahas. Indeed, Coronation Property has a long history of strong investment in Western Sydney, with their latest project " a masterplanned development of nearly 900 apartments known as The Paper Mill " currently taking shape in Liverpool, on the shores of the Georges River.
